Removing the integrated TPU

You need to remove the integrated TPU earlier installing the Movie Adapter.

Installing the Film Adapter

Loading slides and film

You can scan transparent materials such equally positive or negative picture, by passing light through the material. The following sections explain how to load slides and motion-picture show.

You can scan slides and film strips in the 4 10 five inch (101.6 x 127 mm) scanning area of the Pic Adapter.

Note:

If you plan to scan transparent materials from the EPSON Smart Console application or the EPSON Photo Print utility, refer to the respective documentation for details.

Insert a strip of flick in the 35-mm flick strip holder for single frame, base side facing down. Slide the strip until the frame you wish to scan is positioned inside the film holder opening.

Place the film holder on the document table in alignment with the upper correct-hand corner of the Pic Adapter.

120/220 (vi 10 nine cm) film

Note:

In the Total Car mode and in the Thumbnail preview of the Transmission manner, yous cannot scan an image using this picture holder. Therefore, clear the Automatic Thumbnail Preview for Picture show check box in the Configuration dialog box, and so scan the image in the Manual mode.

Insert flick in the 120/220 (6 x 9 cm) size film holder, base side facing down. Slide the strip until the frame you wish to browse is positioned inside the film holder opening.

Place the film holder on the certificate table in alignment with the upper left-hand corner of the Picture show Adapter.

4 x five inch picture

Note:

In the Full Auto manner and in the Thumbnail preview of the Manual mode, y'all cannot browse an paradigm using this film holder. Therefore, clear the Automatic Thumbnail Preview for Film check box in the Configuration dialog box, and and then scan the image in the Manual mode.

Place the motion picture holder on the document tabular array in alignment with the upper left-paw corner of the Film Adapter.

Scanning normal (reflective) documents
